The line graph illustrates the changes in number of visitors in the town between 2014 and 2023.  Overall, it is evident that number of visitors increased signficantly for limited time period and declined suddendly with minor increased. This may be happen due to introducing of new pedestrian zone. Intially, the number of people visiting the town approximately 85 footfall in 2014, followed by 120 footfall in 2017. After minor declined at 115 footfall in 2018, a reached at peak around  141 footfall in 2019. During this time, council agreed to make a pedestrain zone at town's main street due to no vehicle zone  and construction work, drastically plummeted visitors to 80 in 2021. The visitors rose gradually after work finished approximately 103 footfall in 20123. If the visitors's trend continue, the number of visitors will increase gradually due to new-look street and new pedwstrian zone.

First and foremost, it is clearly evident that the number of people visiting have risen gradually during 2017 and siginificantly dropped during 2019. Additionally, the chart illustrates visitors dropped significantly to 2021 and remains stable in 2023. Furthermore, we can conclude from the chart that footfall of the visitors are not steady throughout the year. Based on currents trends, we can forecast a scenario in which people are tend to visit the town after the development work complete. All indicators point towards a future where gradual rise of the visitors as the town council has agreed to make the main street a pedestrian-only zone. It is projected that footfall of the visitors will rise after the opening of the three new restaurant with street dining access. It is imperative that we should give our ideas and opinions to the town council to address the current issues. The most viable course of action would be to finish the work earlier to the start of the summer.

The numbers of visitors inclined steadily from 100 thousand in 2014 to 140 thousand in 2019, and than sharply declined to 80 thousand in 2021. By 2023, the numbers of tourists was increased to 100 thousand. The sharp reductin in tourist from 2020 to 2021 might be attributed to the pandemic related restictions imposed throught out the globe. It seems that the visitors steadily increase after 2021 due to ease in covenants. It is likely that the upward trend will likely be continued  due to conversion of town's main street into a pedestrian-only zone and opening of three new restaurants. I agree with the increasing trend due to introduction of tourists friendly initiatives such as pedestrian-only zone and restaurants.

This graph represents number of people visiting hometown in nine years. In the graph X-axis represents years & Y-axis represents number of people who had a footfall in all those years. In the year 2014 footfall started from 98000 & got into a peak at 138000 during the year 2019 and then we have seen a downwards trend from 2019 to 2021 & 2021 it has registered its very lowest even when compared to 2014 from where the graph started & we have seen an incline again from 2021 to 2023, main assumption for the decline would be due to COVID restrictions & lockdowns but once the restrictions are lifted and they are normalized footfall starting to increase, this graph shows very interesting incline, decline & good information.

Having listened to today’s radio programme about facilities that need financial help, I realised that sports centers and  public gardens have been neglected over the years by the local authorities.  There are few sports centers out there that meet the right characteristics that a good sports center must have. This is  one of the many reasons that people avoid sport. We see lots of kids nowadays suffering from obesity and other health  problems caused by the simple fact that they don’t do sport. Another reason for this is that people have nowhere to go out for a walk or to run in a nice place. Public gardens, parks  for example are also lacking in numbers. The ones that are already there are not very nice and they don’t look very  good.  I think that by improving this two facilities the population can benefit from this. By creating more sports centers, there  will be some more jobs offered, and some kids might even follow a sports career. By making more public gardens  people can get out more often and spend some good quality time relaxing.

On the other hand, a significant decline can be seen in 2021, when the figures fell to around 90,000. This change may have been caused by travel restrictions and the COVID-19 pandemic. In conclusion, the graph shows that visitor numbers experienced both growth and decline during the period. If the current trend continues, it is likely that the number of visitors will increase gradually in the coming years.

As can be seen from the line graph, main trend of people visiting the town in year 2014 to 20223 has been declind. However, initially there is a spike in number of visitors till 2019 but later on the number falls terribly. This is mainly because of the long term campaign doing by the local people to build a safe pedestrian-only zone and some other construction work related to open new restaurants. In future, a huge number of visitor can be expected to visit the town as local people have managed to make council agreed to open new dining options for the tourists and also add a pedestrian safe zone in town's Main Street.

The large fall after 2020 may related with problems which stopped peoples travelling, while later recovery show tourists are coming back. In future visitor numbers will probably increasing. The council is making main street pedestrian only and three new restaurants is going to open. This can make town more attractive for tourist, although construction work may temporarily create problems and less visitors.

By the end of the year 2021 that number goes down to 90 people only. However, they started coming back again as number reaches to 100 by the year 2023. Based on current trend, we can forecast a rise in number of visitors because of the developements going on in the town. It is projected that town council will turn the Main Street into a whole pedestrian zone which will more likely provide the safety of visitors. Also, we can see a rise in number of dining restaurants  which will attract more tourists.
