Practice Listening: Fill in the Blanks (Type In) ID: #39270 Short Green Palace
Instructions ›
You will hear a recording of a tour guide giving information during a city walking tour. Type the missing words in each blank.
* Fill in the missing words into the blank fields
So,  earlier  today  we  saw  the  Green  Palace,  the  building  used  by  presidents  until  1878.  But  now  of  course,  the    home  used  by  presidents  is  over  on  the  other  side  of  the  river,  and  that’s  where  we’re  going  now.  The  decision  to  move  the  president’s  base  was  taken  for      reasons,  but  the  president  at  that  time  also  preferred  that  neighbourhood.  And  did  you  know  that  local  people  call  the  president’s  palace  the    tent?  That  should  give  you  some  idea  of  what  it  looks  like  if  you’ve  never  seen  it  before,  although  personally,  I  think  it  looks  more  like  a  huge  triangle!  But  you  can  judge  for  yourself  when  we  approach  the  palace  from  the    entrance.  That  entrance  offers  the  best  views.
