The American right, I think one of the things that's so important to realise about Trump and we see this in so many other countries as well. You see it in Brazil, where there's a far-right candidate who's going to run in 2018, who's about 15 times scarier than Trump, except for the fact that he won't have nuclear weapons. Which is a pretty big exception, but his name is Hair Bolsonaro. He literally craves return of military dictatorship. You see far right extremists in Europe as well. And one of the things they have in common is they don't embrace or advocate conventional conservative dogma. When Trump ran, he didn't run as a Republican in or a conservative. He ran as somebody hating and running against the policies of both parties. He ran against the Iraq war and the war in Libya, and the prospective war in Syria. He ran again the idea of cutting social programmes, in order to help the poor. The same thing is happening in Europe.

Printed "customer", the speaker says "candidate"

Explanation: Here the speaker says "a far-right candidate who's". Both words start with the same letter, so listen to the end of the word.

Printed "bombs", the speaker says "weapons"

Explanation: The speaker says "he won't have nuclear weapons", not "bombs". The two words begin with different letters, so listen from the first letter.

Printed "bands", the speaker says "dictatorship"

Explanation: Listen for "return of military dictatorship". The printed word is short but the spoken word is much longer.

Printed "conclusive", the speaker says "conventional"

Explanation: You will hear "advocate conventional conservative dogma". Both start with the same letter, so listen to the end of the word.

Printed "racing", the speaker says "running"

Explanation: On the recording the words are "hating and running". Both start with the same letter and end the same two letters.

Printed "with", the speaker says "again"

Explanation: Listen again to "He ran again the idea". The printed word is short while the spoken word is longer.

"Bolsonaro" matches the audio

Explanation: "his name is Hair Bolsonaro" has a rare name. It looks odd, but the speaker says it exactly as printed, so do not click it.

"programmes" matches the audio

Explanation: "cutting social programmes in order" uses British spelling and may look wrong. It is spoken as printed, so do not click it.
