My sense is that in parliamentary systems where parties create lists of candidates that there's more control over recruitment, that those are places where you can put women on the lists. We recruit in a very different way. We don't have lists. We have primaries, and you know, and so you know, you have to win a primary, you have to you get no support. So, if you're a woman, you'll get support memories in a primary, but otherwise you get no support in a primary from almost any institutions. Generally speaking, people try to stay out of primaries. So, my sense is that it's parliamentary systems, where you can, you have lists of candidates. You can the party itself can put women on those list and then you know.

Printed "consent", the speaker says "control"

Explanation: In the audio you hear "more control over recruitment". Both words start with c, so listen to the whole word.

Printed "time", the speaker says "way"

Explanation: Here the speaker says "in a very different way". The first letters differ, so listen at the start of the word.

Printed "hold", the speaker says "support"

Explanation: The speaker says "you get no support". The printed word is much shorter, so the spoken word is clearly longer.

Printed "community", the speaker says "institutions"

Explanation: Listen for "from almost any institutions". The first letters differ, so focus on the start of that word.

Printed "prediction", the speaker says "primaries"

Explanation: You will hear "stay out of primaries". Both words start with p, so wait for the whole word to hear it.

Printed "stay", the speaker says "can"

Explanation: On the recording the words are "where you can, you have lists". The printed word is longer, so listen for a short word there.

Printed "lacking", the speaker says "list"

Explanation: Listen again to "put women on those list". Both words start with l, so listen to the end of the word.

"lists" matches the audio

Explanation: "you have lists of candidates" may seem simple or repeated. The speaker actually says it like that, so do not click it.

"women" matches the audio

Explanation: "put women on those list" sits near other wrong words and looks tricky. The speaker really says "women", so do not click it.
