Like to share now for more thoughts on collaborative research and methodologies and on decolonization of research. For myself and my graduate students asked for their academic partners and Co-researchers, I think I can say that we lived through those years of working together as a mutual experience in decolonization. Not only in the ways of doing research, but also in our subjectivities and inter subjectivities, while I brought, the grant money to conduct the research, I consider that it was their project. They designed every step of it, decided where we could go and could not go and at which pace. It was a process, an adventure that extended over nearly over nearly 10 years.

Printed "ourselves", the speaker says "myself"

Explanation: Here the speaker says "For myself and my graduate". They start with different letters, so listen to the whole word.

Printed "technic", the speaker says "academic"

Explanation: The speaker says "their academic partners", not "technic". Both words end the same, so listen to the start of the word.

Printed "expectation", the speaker says "experience"

Explanation: Listen for "a mutual experience". Both words start with the same letter, so wait for the whole word.

Printed "first", the speaker says "brought"

Explanation: You will hear "while I brought the". The spoken word is longer, so listen to the whole word.

Printed "adverse", the speaker says "adventure"

Explanation: On the recording the words are "an adventure that". Both start with the same letter, so listen to the end of the word.

"research" matches the audio

Explanation: "collaborative research and methodologies" may look like an odd phrase. In this case the speaker says research exactly as printed, so do not click it.

"nearly" matches the audio

Explanation: "extended over nearly over nearly 10 years" repeats the word and looks strange. Don't click nearly here, the speaker really says it.
