They had a policy, had been in place for years, allowing their employees to being pets to work. So, they had 550 employees, but we only involved the 76 day shift employees and we compared three groups, those who had their dogs with them at work. Those who had dogs, but for whatever reason they did not have them at work, whether maybe they were old or ill or not appropriate temperamentally. And then they had non pet owners. And we measured their perception of their work organisation, their stress level throughout the day we assigned them pagers and we page them four times during the day to get their stress levels and their physiological their baseline physiological stress; and this is actually the CEO, with his two dachshunds in his office, regardless of whether they owned a pet or not, or brought the dog to work or not, the employees in this organisation scored higher on national industry norms on job satisfaction, on communication, on pay, on promotion, on benefits, rewards, operating procedures.

Option 2: "Perception of their work organization"

Explanation: This option is correct because the text explicitly states that the study measured the employees' perception of their work organization. This aligns with the overall theme of assessing how pets in the workplace might influence employees' views on their work environment.

Option 1: "Job satisfaction"

Explanation: While job satisfaction is mentioned in the text, it is not one of the two specific factors that were investigated among the three groups of employees. The study focused on measuring the perception of their work organization and stress levels, not directly on job satisfaction as a standalone factor.

Option 3: "Number of dogs in the workplace"

Explanation: This option is incorrect as the study did not investigate the number of dogs in the workplace as a factor. Instead, it focused on the employees' perceptions and stress levels, making this option irrelevant to the specific factors being analyzed.

Option 4: "Stress level throughout the day"

Explanation: This option is correct because the text mentions that the study measured the stress levels of employees throughout the day. This was a key factor in understanding the impact of having pets in the workplace on employee well-being.

Option 5: "Pets' temperament"

Explanation: This option is incorrect as the study did not investigate pets' temperament as a factor. The focus was on the employees' perceptions and stress levels, making this option not relevant to the study's objectives.
