We are excited to announce several community initiatives aimed at enhancing our town's environment and fostering a stronger community spirit. As part of our commitment to sustainability and wellbeing, the following projects will be launched over the next few months:
Green Spaces Enhancement: We will be revitalising local parks and planting more trees throughout the town. These efforts aim to not only beautify our area but also to create more welcoming spaces for leisure and socialising.
Community Volunteer Program: This initiative invites residents to participate in various activities, from assisting in local events to helping maintain our newly enhanced green spaces. It’s a fantastic way to meet fellow community members and make a positive impact.
Recycling Campaign: To improve our town's environmental footprint, we are introducing a comprehensive recycling campaign. This will include educational workshops, increased recycling points, and incentives for households showing significant efforts in recycling.
Neighbourhood Safety Measures: Enhancements in street lighting and the installation of security cameras at key points around the town are planned to ensure that everyone feels safe and secure, especially during the evening.
We believe these initiatives will significantly contribute to the wellbeing of our community and encourage all residents to get involved wherever possible. Further details on each project and how you can participate will be shared in the coming weeks.
Warm regards,
The Local Council Team
