We are excited to announce our annual Community Clean-Up Day, scheduled for Saturday, 14th May, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year, we're focusing on beautifying our parks and public spaces to make them more enjoyable for everyone. The main meeting point will be at Central Park entrance, where volunteers will be grouped and assigned specific areas for clean-up.
In addition to litter picking, we'll be planting new trees and flowers in selected areas. We encourage participants to bring their gardening gloves, tools, and a lot of enthusiasm! For those interested in leading a group, please contact us by next Friday to receive a brief training session on safety and coordination.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all volunteers, courtesy of local businesses who are supporting our initiative. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet your neighbours, contribute to the environment, and take pride in our community.
Remember to wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor activities. We're looking forward to seeing you there and making a positive impact together!
Best regards,
The Community Engagement Team
