The Westbridge Community Centre is thrilled to announce the launch of our Green Thumb Initiative, aimed at fostering a love for gardening and sustainability within our community. As part of this initiative, we will be offering a series of workshops open to all ages, focusing on various aspects of gardening—from the basics of planting seeds to the complexities of maintaining a thriving vegetable garden.

Furthermore, we are excited to introduce our Community Garden Project, where members can rent a plot to grow their own plants. We believe this will not only encourage local food production but also strengthen community bonds.

To support our initiative, we are in need of gardening tools, seeds, and volunteers who can offer their time and expertise. Additionally, we're planning to hold a fundraising event next month to purchase more resources for our community garden. This initiative aligns with our centre’s goal to promote environmental awareness and healthy living within Westbridge.

We invite everyone interested to join us in making the Green Thumb Initiative a success. For more details about the workshops, renting a plot, or how you can contribute, please visit our website or contact us directly.
